Pesticide Workshop for Pesticide Applicators

The Pesticide Program will host a Pesticide Workshop for Pesticide Applicators in the territory. The workshop will take place on St. Thomas June 4, 2008 at UVI Business Room 101 and on St. Croix June 5, 2008 at the Small Business Center Sunshine Mall lower level.

Topics covered include new trends in Termite Management, Mosquito Control Options for the Virgin Islands, and Trends and options for Green Pest Control. Presenters include Jim Wright Regulatory Supervisor at Clemson University Department of Pesticide Regulation and Steve Dwinell Assistant Director Division of Agricultural Environmental Services at Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Pest Control Companies and certified pesticide applicators are encouraged to attend.
