CZM Hosts Free Workshop on Permitting Process

Commissioner Dean C. Plaskett, Esq., of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources, announces that the Division of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) invites all interested persons to participate in the CZM permitting process workshop on St. John entitled “Preparing a Coastal Zone Management Permit Application” on Friday, September 15, 2006, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., at the St. John Administrator’s office conference room.

This workshop is FREE and open to local government agencies, architects, engineers, draftsmen, lawyers, contractors, community organizations and other interested persons.  The workshop will provide information about minor and major CZM development permit applications, local and federal consistency regulatory updates, the permit review process, alternative septic systems, and compliance with approved CZM permit conditions.
